SmartBot Accepted for Indexing in Scopus: A Milestone in International Recognition
SmartBot, the English-language journal on intelligent robotics hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and published by Wiley, has been officially accepted for indexing in Scopus, following a rigorous review by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB).
The inclusion comes after the journal was granted its CN publication number and listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) in March 2026. SmartBot now holds a domestic publication number alongside coverage in two international databases, DOAJ and Scopus — a major milestone in the journal’s international development. It reflects international recognition of SmartBot’s academic quality, publishing standards and global reach, and means that researchers around the world can now discover and access the work it publishes through Scopus and DOAJ.
About Scopus
Scopus is Elsevier's comprehensive abstract and citation database, widely recognized as one of the world's leading sources for peer-reviewed literature and research indicators. It combines an expertly curated abstract and citation database with enriched data and linked scholarly literature across a wide variety of disciplines. Its content is source-neutral and curated by an independent Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB), making inclusion an important marker of a journal’s academic quality and international reach. After accepted by Scopus, its articles can be searched and cited by researchers worldwide, greatly raising the international visibility of the research it publishes.
