Professor Liu Zhen was honored as one of the "Most Beautiful Scientific and Technological Workers" in the aerospace field for 2025

On April 24th, the 2025 Most Beautiful Scientific and Technological Workers in the aerospace field were announced at the Aerospace Night · Scientist Carnival event during the China Space Conference. Professor Liu Zhen from our institute was among the recipients of this prestigious title in the aerospace domain. This year's selection recognized three groups and ten individuals nationwide.

Professor Liu Zhen is a core member of the National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team for Aerospace Space Mechanisms and Control Technology at universities. Over the years, he has adhered to an educational philosophy guided by major aerospace demands and driven by landmark projects, and implemented a cultivation concept that emphasizes promoting theory through practice, innovation through projects, and capabilities through engineering, achieving a series of innovative outcomes. He has delved deeply into the research of morphing suspension rovers, providing core technologies such as the morphing suspension configuration and multi-mode mobility control methods for the Zhurong rover in China's first Mars exploration mission. Additionally, he developed a microgravity simulation system for the large-scale space manipulator of the space station's core module. His relevant achievements have been honored with awards including the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, the Gold Award for Good Design, and the Silver Award of the China Patent Award.
