During the summer holiday the Professor from Strathclyde University in England gave the lecture of teaching methods in our school.

First, Professor Luo Xichun introduced the British high education system and the teaching situation in Strathclyde University. Combined with his own engineering design course, Professor Luo Xichun introduced the college courses, credit setting, teaching methods on class , assessment methods, interactive mode between teachers and students in Strathclyde University.

The teachers attending the meeting discussed some questions about the less hours of courses. There are some kinds of engineering design courses according to the different degrees of difficulty which is different from our courses.

Associate dean Professor Yan Jihong said : the School of Mechatronics Engineer is carrying out and promoting the reform of teaching methods, so it is very important to communicate with the foreign teachers who has high level。
