2016 International Summer School of “Intelligent Robot” which is organized by the Undergraduate School, undertaken by school of Mechatronics Engineering has been opened on July 11th.Assistant Principal, director of the key laboratory of Robotics and Systems, the dean of school of Mechatronics Engineering, prof Liu Hong attended the Opening ceremony and made a speech.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Yan Jihong ,the associate dean of school of Mechatronics Engineering. Prof. Paul Imbertson coming from University of Minnesota and Zhu Siyu coming from Shanghai Jiao Tong University have spoken at the Opening ceremony. Prof.Cai Hegao, a member of China Engineering Academy, Prof. Qi Jingyao, the associate dean of the Undergraduate School have attended the opening ceremony.
The summer school lasted for three weeks, and has invited many international famous scholars from Purdue University, America; University of Minnesota , America;University of Gävle, Sweden, etc. The member of China Engineering Academy, Thousands of people plan scholars, Changjiang scholars have also attended it . There are more than 150 students from America, Russia, Thailand and domestic famous university of C9.The summer school will provide distinctive lecture of intelligent robots,learning content of course combining with competition and promote academic exchange and cooperation between young teachers and international senior academics.
