From October 23rd to 25th, the study group of Heilongjiang energy city went to Daqing to study, which was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and hosted by the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. Before this activity, Ren Nanqi, the Vice President of HIT, met with Li Yanguang, the Director of Division of International Students Affairs of China Scholarship Council.

This activity attracted more than 150 foreign students in master degrees and doctoral degrees who won CSC Scholarships. They are students from 9 universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin Engineering University, Northeast Forestry University and so on. During the activity, those students learned about the development history, city orientation and development direction of Daqing. They also visited the third oil recovery factory in Daqing, 1025 drilling crew and Hi-tech Development Zone of Daqing. Besides, they visited some city sights, including Daqing Oil Field Science Museum
