On the evening of November 28, the 2015 “World Hand in  Hand” Chinese and Foreign Students’ Entertainment Evening Party, jointly hosted  by International Student Center and Youth League Committee of Harbin Institute  of Technology, was held at the auditorium in the main building of the first  campus. Peng Yuankui, the President’s assistant, attended the evening  party.

Twenty programs including symphony performances, dances,  songs, folk music and other wonderful programs of the Chinese and foreign  students from more than one hundred countries and regions immersed the audience  into a visual feast. In addition, the evening party also made the audience feel  the different traditions and culture of different countries, which greatly  enhanced the friendship of Chinese and foreign students. It is said that the  party attracted about 200 students and teachers to participate in the  performance, most of which are finished jointly by Chinese and foreign students.  What is different from the past parties is that the chorus of the teachers from  School of Civil Engineering performed on the stage with the Chinese and foreign  students for the first time. The unique artistic atmosphere achieved by the  blend of east and west attracted an admiring audience.

The “World Hand in Hand” Chinese and Foreign Students’  Entertainment Evening Party is the brand activity of the multicultural campus  and international school atmosphere improvement project of the international  students. Since 2010, the Party has been successfully held five times, which is  known as the “Spring Festival Gala of the HIT Chinese and foreign  students”.
